Ludlow is an historic mediaeval market town in South Shropshire, centered around Ludlow Castle. Famed for its gastronomy it is the perfect centre to explore this beautiful area. It is close to the border with Wales and is in an area of outstanding Natural Beauty.
There are almost 500 listed buildings in Ludlow itself including some fine examples of medieval and Tudor-style half-timbered buildings. The parish church, St Laurence Church, is the largest in the county.
